Casting Announcements!
We are delighted to announce our first stage of casting for our 2018 season...

DERBY ARENA - NO NEED TO BE BLUE THIS CHRISTMAS!

Blue singer, West End performer and Hollyoaks actor DUNCAN JAMES is to headline our production of Jack and the Beanstalk, playing the title role.

Having most recently seen playing the role of Ryan in the popular Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. He achieved significant success in the role, being nominated for Most Popular Newcomer for the 2016 NTA's and was nominated for Best Newcomer for the 2017 Soap Awards.

Talking about the announcement Duncan said: “I’m delighted to be playing Jack at Derby Arena this Christmas, It’s going to be a giant adventure and I’m really looking forward to getting to know the City. Panto is always such a great, uplifting experience, and I know this is going to be a lovely show with a great heart to it. Plus after Hollyoaks it’s going to be great to be goodie again! "

He will be joined by MORGAN BRIND as Dame Trott, back after a hugely successful season last year, and also the winner of the Great British Pantomime Awards Best Male Baddie, LAWRENCE BOOTHMAN as the evil Cess Pit.

LOUGHBOROUGH TOWN HALL - BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
After impressing Loughborough audiences in last year’s Robin Hood as Dame Nanny Nora Nightnurse, JAMES PEAKE will return this year as the charismatic Betty The Bell Ringer.

He will be joined by KRISTIAN CUNNINGHAM, who played the cheeky but loveable Much The Millers Son in last year’s Robin Hood, and this year will be creating more messy mayhem as Idle Jacques.

Robbie Kerr, Venue Manager at Loughborough Town Hall, said “We’re hugely excited to see the incredibly talented James Peake and Kristian Cunningham return to LTH ahead of this year’s fast-selling Beauty and the Beast. Both actors won audiences over as soon they stepped onto our stage last year, helping contribute to the shows five-star review and subsequent national acclaim at the Great British Pantomime Awards".

“The chemistry between the two on-stage was one of the highlights of the show and we look forward to them both returning to Loughborough to have audiences in stitches once more.”

SOLIHULL - OUR NEW ADVENTURE!

Our first official casting announcement for our brand new venue, is that DAN SMITH will be playing the role of Nurse Nancy Nightly. Dan has worked for the company on many productions across many venues and we are delighted that he is going to lead our new adventure.

Little Wolf Co-Founder, Morgan Brind, said “It’s such a pleasure to be working with both of these talented actors again this season. All our audiences are in for a real treat this Christmas and plans are already being made to make sure that this year’s shows are even bigger and better than ever! "

More exciting casting information will be coming throughout the year - watch this space!

Double Award Win at
We are absolutely thrilled to say that Little Wolf has won not one, but two awards at The Great British Pantomime Awards 2018!

Morgan Brind's design for Beauty and the Beast at Derby Arena was declared to be the BEST SET AND STAGING in the country, while Lawrence Boothman was awarded BEST MALE BADDIE for his portrayal of The Sheriff of Nottingham in our recent production of Robin Hood at Loughborough Town Hall.

Amongst competition from every other pantomime in the country, including those with budgets and resources far exceeding our own, we are immensely proud to have received critical acclaim at this national level.

Our Latest Adventure!
For our 2018 season, in addition to our productions in Loughborough and Derby, we will also now be presenting the pantomime at The Core Theatre, Solihull.

Our inaugural production in the venue will be Sleeping Beauty. For more information please visit our THIS SEASON page.

We are delighted to be working with Lawrence, Andrew and their excellent team, and we look forward to launching a new era of pantomime at this charming venue.

In a change from previous Core Theatre pantomimes we will now be looking for a junior ensemble, made up of local children ages 8 - 16. Auditions for this will be held at the theatre during the summer. For more details see our CASTING page.

What a Season!
3rd consecutive 5 star review,
a record breaking run,
and "a new era for pantomime"!
This year's Robin Hood at Loughborough Town Hall, has been awarded the 5 star 'critics choice' review from industry newspaper The Stage, one of only nine shows in the country this year, and we are now (as far as we know) the only pantomime in the country that currently has three years of consecutive five star reviews!

The Show was also the biggest grossing show in the 25 year history of pantomime at Loughborough Town Hall.

Also this year we created our first show, Beauty and the Beast, for the magnificent Derby Arena, which the British Theatre Guide said heralded "a new era for pantomime in Derby", as "the whole audience gasps open-mouthed at a moment of pure theatricality" not to mention the "breathtaking transformation scene."

The Stage Newspaper said: "Panto has finally found its feet in the vast and challenging space of Derby Arena" from "one of the most exciting companies in the industry at present."

We would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has been a part of our most successful season ever!

Stay tuned for much more exciting news and opportunities coming soon...
